Creep crack growth resistance of an age hardened aluminium alloy for supersonic applications

This paper presents experimental results on the creep crack growth behaviour of an age hardened aluminium alloy. Influence of a given creep regime at different temperatures on the values in the exponent of the creep power law dadt∝Kβ and on fracture modes is investigated.
