Copper fiber-reinforced bulk metallic glass composites were produced by infiltrating liquid Zr41.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10.0Be22.5 into copper fiber bundles with the individual fiber diameters of 250 μm. The metallic glass matrix with mostly amorphous structure was obtained after adding copper fibers ranging from 7 to 60 vol.%. The microstructure, structure, thermal stability and thermal conductivity of the composites were investigated by optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry.
