Carbon nanotube-toughened interlocking buffer layer to improve the adhesion strength and thermal shock resistance of SiC coating for C/C-ZrC-SiC composites

We constructed a novel CNT-toughened interlocking buffer layer, and investigated its effect on the bonding strength and thermal shock resistance of SiC coating on C/C-ZrC-SiC composites.
