Synthesis, characterization, thermal and dielectric properties of pure and cadmium doped calcium hydrogen phosphate

► Cd doping effect on the synthesis and characterization of CHP crystal is reported. ► Cd doping enhances the thermal stability of the grown crystal. ► Transition temperature shifts towards higher temperature, thereby suggesting these materials to be relaxor ferroelectrics.
