Electrical and optical properties of copper-complexes thin films grown by the vacuum thermal evaporation technique

► Thin films of K2[Cu(C2O4)2] ] and 1,8-dihydroxyanthraquinone salt were deposited. ► The thin films show electrical conductivities within the range of 10−5-10−6 S cm−1. ► The optical gaps associated to the films were determined. ► The PL spectra are influenced by the structure and nature of the organic ligand.
