Birefringence of CuGa2S4 crystals

► One can create band-pass-mode filters, band-elimination-mode filters, and comb filters using thin CuGaS2 crystals. ► These filters can be used for selecting several spectral lines, for instance different laser lines. ► The number of the selected lines is controlled by changing the crystal thickness.
