Sandblasting durability of acrylic and glass Fresnel lenses for concentrator photovoltaic modules

► Transmittance after sandblasting of PMMA and glass substrates was evaluated. ► The decrease in transmittance was proportional to the momentum of blown sand. ► The durability of glass Fresnel lens was approximately twice that of PMMA lens.
