Summary report of CALPHAD XLIV - Loano, Italy, 2015

The CALPHAD XLIV meeting took place in Loano, Italy, from May 31 to June 5, 2015. 213 participants from 28 countries attended the conference. The scientific programme included 95 oral presentations, 118 poster presentations, and 3 software demonstrations. Oral presentations were grouped in 9 topics: Ab initio calculations, Thermodynamics, Calphad modeling, Calphad assessments, Calphad applications (nano-materials, nuclear materials, geochemistry, miscellaneous), Thermodynamic databases, Software development, Diffusion and Surfaces, Experimental investigations.
