A thermodynamic description of the Al-Mo-Si system

► The Al-Mo-Si system was critically optimized using CALPHAD technique. ► AlMo3 and Mo3Si were treated as one phase (Al,Mo,Si)(Al,Mo)3. ► A self-consistent thermodynamic description of the Al-Mo-Si system was obtained.
