Simulation of static softening behavior of an aluminum alloy after cold strip rolling

- A multi-scale model is proposed to assess static softening rate after cold rolling.
- Static recrystallization and recovery are considered at the same time.
- Isothermal static recrystallization of cold rolled AA5052 is examined by the model.
- Reasonable agreement is found between the predictions and the experimental data.
