FP-LAPW study of the structural, elastic and thermodynamic properties of spinel oxides ZnX2O4 (XÂ =Â Al, Ga, In)

► Elastic and thermodynamic properties of ZnX2O4 compounds have been investigated. ► ZnX2O4 materials show mechanical stability and high stiffness. ► Pressure and temperature dependences of some macroscopic parameters have been obtained.
