Atomistic continuum modeling of graphene membranes

A continuum-atomistic model of graphene is presented. The model behavior is based on computational homogenization. An extended Cauchy-Born rule is developed in the atomic fluctuation field. Lattice relaxation is enabled via suitable chosen representative unit lattices. A continuum-atomistic FEM analysis shows slightly weaker response than experimental.
