Archaeometallurgical investigation of the iron anchor from the Tantura F shipwreck

► Tantura F was a coaster dated to mid-7th-end-8th centuries. ► Two iron anchors were discovered at the Tantura F shipwreck-site. ► Anchor A was manufactured from heterogeneous wrought iron blooms. ► Forge-welding lines were detected using archaeometallurgical methods.
