Influences of deformation strain, strain rate and cooling rate on the Burgers orientation relationship and variants morphology during β → α phase transformation in a near α titanium alloy

► We studied prior β deformation and cooling rate influence on Burgers OR obeying. ► Stress/strain elastic anisotropy at grain-scale were evaluated by CPFEM simulation. ► External factors have no significant influence on the Burgers OR respecting. ► Strain and cooling rate has a significant influence on morphologies of α variants. ► Elastic anisotropy but not the mean value significantly affect Burgers OR obeying.
