Experimental investigation on both low cycle fatigue and fracture behavior of DZ125 base metal and the brazed joint at elevated temperature

► Mechanical properties of DZ125 base metal and brazed joint were investigated at 850 °C. ► The brazed joint has the obvious softening phenomenon at stress range above 640 MPa. ► The brazed joint shows lower fatigue life compared with the base metal. ► All the brazed joints are fractured in the brazing seam. ► The differences of fracture phenomena between two types of specimens were observed.
