Tension behavior of metallic glass coating on Cu foil

► Tensile properties of Cu-supported ZrCu/Cu multilayer coating were examined. ► ZrCu/Cu coating exhibits better tensile performance than ZrCu coating. ► Modulus and strength of the 1 μm ZrCu/Cu coating agree with theoretical values. ► Thinner ZrCu layer or thicker Cu layer can make multilayer coating ductile.
