Evolution of texture during hot rolling of aluminum borate whisker-reinforced 6061 aluminum alloy composite

▶ Some new textures are formed in the composites with low rolling reduction. ▶ Some plate textures decreases quickly with increasing rolling reduction. ▶ Some fiber textures are formed in the composites with high rolling reductions.▶ Some fiber textures results from the extending of some plate textures. ▶ The change of resultant stress may be responsible for the formation of new textures.
