• The La1−xSrxFeO3(x=0–0.6) film is prepared by a screen printing method.
• The Sr content influents a shift of crystal structure orthorhombic to rhombohedral.
• The content of 0.4 Sr highlight the electrical conductivity.
La1−xSrxFeO3 (LSFO, x=0.0–0.6) films were prepared by a screen-printing method using powders synthesized by sol–gel. The presence of well-defined sharp peaks indicated the single-phase perovskite structure of LSFO. Strontium content induced a transition of crystal structure orthorhombic structure (x<0.4) to orthorhombic structure (0.4≤x≤0.6) and resulted in a slight decrease in parameters a and c. The prepared film was uniform with particle size about 500 nm in regular shape. LSFO film had good sintering properties and fair compatibility with alumina ceramic substrates. The electrical conductivity was enhanced for the substituted Sr and La0.6Sr0.4FeO3 had the highest value.
