Synthesis of ordered mesoporous silicoaluminophosphates by using LTA zeolite precursors dissolved under acidic conditions

► Simple and straightforward method for the preparation of well-ordered mesoporous silicoaluminophosphates under acidic conditions. ► Zeolite nanoblocks still retain the local structure of the Si-O-Al bonding. ► Incorporation of phosphorus species in the framework inhibited the release of aluminum species.► They are promising catalysts for the conversion of high molecular weight petroleum fractions.
