Evaluation of the biocide activity of phosphorylated and sulfophosphorylated resins

► Sulfophosphorylated groups can be introduced onto Sty-DVB copolymers. ► Phosphorylated copolymer showed bactericidal action against E. coli cells. ► Sulfophosphorylated copolymer showed bactericidal action against E. coli cells. ► Biocidal action of sulfophosphoryl groups was higher than that of phosphoryl ones.
