Sensitisation identification of stainless steel to intergranular stress corrosion cracking by atomic force microscopy

A new technique was developed for characterisation of stainless steel to intergranular stress corrosion cracking by atomic force microscopy. The technique proved to be effective in sensitisation identification of AISI 304 stainless steel and might be promising in sensitisation identification of other stainless steels.
