Microstructure and indentation mechanical properties of YSZ nanostructured coatings obtained by suspension plasma spraying

► YSZ coatings were deposited by SPS from commercial nanosuspension. ► All coatings displayed a two-zone microstructure. ► Mechanical properties were determined using nanoindentation technique. ► Coatings showed a bimodal distribution of mechanical properties.
