Analytical and computational modeling of fluctuation electron microscopy from a nanocrystal/amorphous composite

► We reported an improve model of fluctuation microscopy of a nanocrystal/amorphous composite. ► The model is validated against dynamical diffraction computer simulations. ► Strain and disorder in the nanocrystals have a large effect on the FEM signal, especially at larger scattering vector.
