Application of the wavelet expansion method in spatial-angular discretization of the neutron transport equation

► A new computational method for solving the neutron transport equation is proposed. ► The Daubechies wavelets are applied to expand both the spatial and angular variables. ► The numerical tests demonstrate that the method is capable of simulating the large graded flux distribution precisely.
