Sensitivity of operational limits with respect to heat removal parameters in a high power MTR

► This work developed a steady state model for research reactors with two coolant loops. ► The model is used to examine the sensitivity of operational limits with variation in heat removal parameters. ► Operational limits are quite sensitive to primary flow and low sensitive to secondary flow. ► Sensitivity with respect to cooling tower and heat exchanger parameters are similar in the range of investigation. ► The model is useful for analysis of heat removal components upgrading or degradations.
