Verification and validation of the flux reconstruction method for CANDU® applications

► We developed a method for heterogeneous flux reconstruction for reactor core calculations. ► This modulation method was first time applied to a complicated CANDU bundle geometry. ► The method was verified against the transport solution using simplified benchmarks and it was also validated against experimental data from ZED-2 reactor. ► A good agreement between our method and the reference solutions was reached.
