A study on the effects of CO-tubes insertion on the emission characteristics of a compact heat exchanger

► It was studied effects of CO-tubes insertion on NOx and CO emissions from a compact heat exchanger. ► The “CO-tubes” means that pre-cooling tubes were inserted between the burner and the main heat exchanger to reduce CO concentration. ► CO concentration was dramatically reduced by the CO-tubes and NOx concentration was also slightly decreased.
