► We present Kriging predictions of temperature and stratigraphy data from the Wairakei geothermal field. ► We provide an introductory section of Kriging for general audiences. ► We show how to model data anisotropy and trends. We also show how geoscience and reservoir data can be used to provide constraints to Kriging predictions. ► We integrate stratigraphy and temperature predictions and discuss implication to conceptual understanding of geothermal fields.
