Concluding remarks

The following concluding remarks summarize the outstanding progress in the development of semi-conductor tracking and vertex detectors for particle physics applications, as presented at this 15th International Workshop on Vertex Detectors. Also discussed are recent astrophysics and medical applications of these detectors.
