A Klein-Gordon particle captured by embedded curves

► A Klein-Gordon particle with singular interactions supported on embedded curves on Riemannian manifolds is studied. ► The renormalization of the model can be performed nonperturbatively. ► The model is asymptotically free as its beta function is found to be negative.
