A study of non-elastic reaction rates for the ADS materials in the environment of spallation neutrons produced by 1.6Â GeV d-beam

► (n, xn) spectrum average cross-section for seven elements are calculated. ► Comparison of theoretical and experimental spectrum average cross-sections is done. ► A close agreement is found between the experimental and theoretical cross-sections.
