Evaluation of dual γ-ray imager with active collimator using various types of scintillators

► The performance of a specialized dual γ-ray imager was evaluated. ► Four scintillators were examined as an active collimator and a planar detector. ► Either LaCl3(Ce) or BGO would be appropriate for the active collimator. ► BGO showed best performance as a planar detector.
