A feasibility study of multiplexing parallelbeam

► A multiplexing parallel beam (MPB) collimator is proposed. ► MPB can improve sensitivity while maintaining higher spatial resolution. ► The reconstructed image at deep-sited was noticeably better than parallel beam. ► Monte Carlo simulations are used in the evaluation.
