Proposal for generation of high-intensity monochromatic Cherenkov radiation in THz range by femtosecond electron bunches in impurity-doped semiconductor tube

► We propose Generation of coherent THz Cherenkov radiation. ► Femtosecond electron bunches move on the axis of a semiconductor tube. ► The plasma frequency of the semiconductor is close to the radiation frequency. ► The coherent condition gives a quasi-monochromatic radiation.
