Luminescence characteristics of minerals separated from irradiated onions during storage under different light conditions

► The luminescence properties are known sensitive to adverse storage conditions. ► Effect of storage under different light conditions on PSL & TL was evaluated. ► The most drastic effect was observed in case of storage under natural light. ► Identification was possible even after 2 years of storage using TL. ► The minerals were characterized using XRD analysis.
