Radon concentration in hot springs of the touristic city of Sarein and methods to reduce radon in water

► Determination of radon concentration in groundwater and some thermal springs of Sarein using RAD7 (H2O). ► Groundwater radon level exceeds standards while that of springs does not. ► Applying theoretically the passive track technique to find exhalation corrections to the results. ► Geological and hydrological approach in describing the causality of the monitoring results. ► Common mitigation methods applied to Sarein groundwaters show highly exponential correlations.
