Cannabinoid CB1 receptor is expressed in chromophobe renal cell carcinoma and renal oncocytoma

► ChRCC and RO are originated in the intercalated cells of the distal nephron. ► CCRCC is originated in proximal tubules. ► CB1 receptors are expressed in tubular cells from proximal and distal nephron. ► CB1 receptor is expresed in ChRCC and RO and is not expressed in CCRCC. ► CB1 receptor may be used for differential diagnosis of these renal tumors.
