Genetic variations within the PSORS1 region affect Kawasaki disease development and coronary artery aneurysm formation

Results suggest pivotal roles of polymorphisms within the PSORS1 region in KD pathogenesis. Since this region has been linked to psoriasis, this finding provides molecular evidence to suggest the possible linkage between KD and psoriasis.
