Phase equilibria of long chain n-alkanes in supercritical ethane: Review, measurements and prediction

Available literature data for the phase equilibrium of n-alkanes with 10-36 carbon atoms in supercritical ethane, together with additional experimental measurements, were compiled into a single data set. Between 310 and 360 K a linear relationship exists between the phase equilibrium pressure and the number of carbon atoms at constant composition and temperature and can be used predicatively.
