RETRACTED: Stimulation of sensory neurons by capsaicin increases tissue levels of IGF-I, thereby reducing reperfusion-induced apoptosis in mice

This follows an inquiry by the Investigation Committee on Scientific Misconduct at the Nagoya City University into the authors. It determined that Dr Naoaki Harada was directly involved in instances of data fabrication in Figures 8 (c) and (e). It also identified that Dr Kenji Okajima, as corresponding author, is not immune from the responsibility for this misconduct.
