Association between lead exposure from electronic waste recycling and child temperament alterations

► We evaluated BLL and temperament of children from Guiyu and Chendian. ► We found the dose-dependent effects of lead exposure on temperament alteration. ► Child elevated BLL and temperament were correlated with e-waste recycling activities. ► E-waste recycling may affect child health by increasing BLL and altering temperament.
