Light and insulant plates for housing external closure

This is a description of a new application of recycled expanded polystyrene incorporated to concrete bricks later used for the manufacturing of closure plates. These plates are very light (specific weight 600 kg/m3) and provide an excellent thermal insulation (λ = 0.15 W/m K). They are manufactured in the workshop and can be easily mounted, thus making a house quickly habitable and providing solutions to habitation emergency cases.
