Osteopathische Behandlung der Entrapmentneuropathie des Nervus axillaris

ZusammenfassungDie Entrapmentneuropathie des N. axillaris in der lateralen Achsellücke führt zu einem unspezifischen Schulter-Arm-Schmerz, hingegen nur selten zu deutlichen Paresen und Sensibilitätsstörungen. Die Läsion des Nervs ist meist auf eine sportliche Überlastung zurückzuführen. In dieser Fallstudie mit sieben Patienten konnten überwiegend gute Behandlungsergebnisse durch die osteopathische Behandlung der lateralen Achsellücke und des N. axillaris gezeigt werden. Sie hat den Evidenzgrad IV (AHCRP/SIGN) gemäß der Case Reporting (CARE) Guideline.

Entrapment neuropathy of the axillary nerve in the lateral axillary space causes unspecific shoulder and arm pain, but only rarely leads to distinct pareses or sensory disturbances. The nerve injury is mostly due to excessive stress resulting from sport. The present case report including 7 patients delivered predominantly good results obtained by osteopathic treatment of the lateral axillary space and the axillary nerve.
