ZusammenfassungDie Kompressionssyndrome der oberen Thoraxapertur (Thoracic-Outlet-Kompressionssyndrom, TOS) entstehen häufig durch eine Kumulation kongenitaler Anlageanomalien und posturaler bzw. habitueller Faktoren und führen zu einem sehr komplexen Beschwerdebild. Die Symptome eines TOS können neurogen, vaskulär oder neurovaskulär sein und lassen sich meist durch eine ausführliche Anamnese und eine klinisch funktionelle analytische Diagnostik von anderen Erkrankungen dieser Region abgrenzen.
