ZusammenfassungDas autonome Nervensystem (ANS) besteht aus drei Komponenten: dem sympathischen, dem parasympathischen und dem enterischen Nervensystem. Diese drei stehen unter der Kontrolle des Hypothalamus und des limbischen Systems. Das ANS garantiert unter physiologischen Bedingungen eine homöostatische Regulation körperlicher Funktionen und entwickelt die Basis für die Regeneration des Körpers sowie für die Aufrechterhaltung der Immunkompetenz. Somit agiert das ANS als Plattform für die Entwicklung einer salutogenetischen Ressource.
