Cancer du sein et grossesse : prise en charge et place de la sage-femme dans le diagnostic

During pregnancy, the incidence of breast cancer is estimated to be around one in 3000. If the frequency of late pregnancies continues to increase in the coming years, the number of breast cancer cases linked to pregnancy will increase, since the risk of the occurrence of breast cancer increases with age. The probability of pregnancy in a woman with breast cancer is 3 %. Given the increase in frequency of this link between breast cancer and pregnancy, we wanted to evaluate the situation regarding the treatment of this disease during pregnancy, but also regarding the role that we as midwives could have in the treatment of pregnant women with breast cancer.
