L'une des obligations de l'auteur, à la soumission d'un article pour publication, est de déclarer explicitement l'originalité et l'exclusivité de son travail. Toute réutilisation d'information doit s'accompagner obligatoirement d'un référencement et de citations appropriés. Cet article représente donc un détournement grave du système de l'édition scientifique. La communauté scientifique prend ce problème très à coeur et présente ses excuses aux lecteurs de la revue pour ne pas avoir détecté ce plagiat au moment de la soumission.The author has plagiarized part of a paper that had already appeared in La Revue Sage-Femme, 5 (2006), 145–153, http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/S1637-4088(06)76043-6. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original and has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. Re-use of any data should be appropriately cited. As such this article represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
