ZusammenfassungDer Pflege von Krebspatienten wird auf nationaler Ebene ein hoher Stellenwert beigemessen und in der Ausbildung von Krankenpflegekräften und anderen Gesundheitsberufen gewinnt die Onkologie zunehmend an Bedeutung. Bislang wurde jedoch kaum erforscht, ob eine onkologische Ausbildung positive Auswirkungen in der klinischen Praxis hat. In diesem Artikel werden Aspekte der Pflege von Krebspatienten und der onkologischen Ausbildung untersucht und es werden Publikationen besprochen, die sich mit den Zusammenhängen zwischen onkologischer Pflege und onkologischer Ausbildung befassen. Insbesondere wird die These untersucht, nach der eine onkologische Ausbildung positive Auswirkungen auf die klinische Praxis hat. Der Artikel zeigt, dass auf diesem Gebiet weiterer Forschungsbedarf besteht.
