Checking Your Tail and Other Considerations for Crafting a Comprehensive Malpractice Agreement

The purpose of this article is to define different types of malpractice insurance, with attention to the tail policy and the relevance for both nurse practitioners who are employees and those who are employers. Included is some basic information about the cost of such policies. The article provides two scenarios as exemplars and makes recommendations for nurse practitioners to help them craft a more comprehensive malpractice agreement.
