Co-occurring Binge Eating and Binge Drinking in College Women

ObjectiveTo examine co-occurring binge eating and binge drinking and the associated negative consequences in college-age women.ResultsCo-occurring binge eating and binge drinking behaviors were associated with increased odds ratios for having problems at work or school, with friends, with a dating partner, and being involved in a regretted sexual situation.ConclusionsThe results of this study can assist nurse practitioners in identifying college-age women at risk for developing negative health consequences related to their eating and drinking behaviors.
